Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is a form of support for people struggling with problems in their relationships, especially in partnerships. These relationships have a significant impact on our well-being, both mental and physical, shaping our sense of security and personal development. Problems in a relationship can affect various areas of life, from intimacy to professional life.

Problems in relationships can appear due to many different reasons, such as emotional difficulties, addictions, sexual problems or everyday challenges such as work. In such cases, it is worth using the help of a therapist who will help you cope with the difficulties.

Couples therapy is dedicated to people in partnerships, both formal, informal, heterosexual and same-sex. It's aim is to improve the quality of the relationship, facilitate communication and solve problems that may arise in the relationship.

I work using the Gottman method, which is an approach to couples therapy based on many years of scientific research. It was created by Dr. John Gottman and his wife, Dr. Julie Gottman, who have been analyzing relationships and marriages for over forty years, working with thousands of couples. The method focuses on learning how to deal with conflicts, overcome difficulties, improve mutual understanding, repair wrongs and strengthen the bond in the relationship.

The Gottman Method also emphasizes the importance of conflict management skills, because not all problems need to be resolved. Partners learn to talk openly about their beliefs, aspirations and goals, which helps build trust and a stronger commitment to the relationship.

Thanks to my education in sexology, I can also support couples who experience difficulties related to sexual life.
